His professional path took shape in 2006 at Bug Music, launching a successful career in music supervision that has taken him to the top of the industry in Los Angeles, where he’s been since 2009.
Michael has supervised music for films directed by Judd Apatow, Wes Anderson, Paul Schrader, David Robert Mitchell, and Mel Gibson, as well as TV series for Netflix, Paramount+, CBS, ABC/Freeform, Hulu, VICELAND, and more. His ability to merge powerful storytelling with impactful music has made him a sought-after name in both film and television.
In addition to film and TV, Michael has made waves in the advertising world, supervising music for high-profile campaigns and branded content for companies like Converse, Petco, Booking.com, Estee Lauder, Rise Credit, Microsoft, Porsche, and Acer Computers. He also served as director of music department services at Media Creature Properties, working with clients such as Raycom Media and The World Poker Tour.
