As the driving force behind Urban Grind TV, Wally helped grow the brand into a 30x award-winning media platform with more than 800 episodes, national streaming reach, and a long-standing presence on Chicago cable television. Known as “Mr. Music, TV & Sports Is My Business,” Wally continues to create opportunities for artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, entertainers, and community leaders while pushing Urban Grind TV forward as the longest-running hip-hop TV show in the Midwest.

John Daniel is an accomplished TV director, editor, and photographer with a long-standing creative history as part of Urban Grind TV. A core member of the team since its early seasons, John has played a major role in shaping the visual style, production quality, and storytelling that helped Urban Grind TV become a 30x award-winning media platform.

His work extends beyond television into music videos, photography, live event coverage, editing, and digital production. John has directed music videos that premiered on major platforms including MTV Live, BET Jams, and Music Choice, helping artists bring their creative visions to national audiences.

A Columbia College graduate, licensed drone pilot, and dedicated visual creator, John blends technical skill with creative passion. His commitment to the craft continues to help push the boundaries of music, television, and independent media production.

Shawn “Sinista” Jackson – TV Producer, Artist & Label Owner

Shawn “Sinista” Jackson is a TV producer, artist, label owner, and founder of Sinista Music Group. As a key member of Urban Grind TV, he has contributed to the platform’s award-winning legacy, helping Urban Grind TV earn multiple Best TV Show awards while continuing to support independent music, media, and culture.

Through Sinista Music Group, Shawn has helped create real opportunities for artists to reach major platforms. His label artist, Thot Boy Zello, debuted on BET Jams and MTV Live, with a single that charted at #30 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts, earning a music plaque and further proving Sinista’s ability to move talent from the studio to national exposure.

DJ Savvy – Radio DJ, Host, Security & UGTV VP

DJ Savvy is a South Side Chicago native, proudly representing 95th and Green with the motto “Stand Firm,” while also leaving his mark out west representing “Da Woodz.” A seasoned radio DJ, host, security professional, and military veteran, DJ Savvy has been DJing since 1984 and brings decades of experience, discipline, and culture to Urban Grind TV and Urban Grind Radio.

Throughout his career, DJ Savvy has opened for and worked alongside major national artists including Trey Songz, Lloyd, Ray J, Lyfe Jennings, Lil Boosie, Young Buck, 2 Chainz, Travis Porter, French Montana, and many more. His deep music background, professional presence, and connection to the culture have made him a trusted name in live events, radio, and entertainment.

A proud 12-year veteran of the United States military, serving in both the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, DJ Savvy brings leadership, loyalty, and structure to every role he holds. He is also affiliated with The Imperial DJs, The Technitionz, Core DJs, TableMannerz DJs, Digital Dope Radio, and Zaytown Global with Grammy-winning producer Zaytoven.

As part of Urban Grind TV, DJ Savvy serves as a host, radio DJ, security professional, and UGTV VP of Distribution – East Coast, helping expand the brand’s reach while representing the mission with authenticity and purpose. You can also catch him every Saturday on WIKS 101.9 KISS FM in Eastern North Carolina from 7 PM to midnight, and Sunday afternoons from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Randy Chertkow is a multi-faceted industry expert serving as Urban Grind TV’s business manager, as well as a TV producer, musician, author, and technology professional. With a strong background in music, media, publishing, business strategy, and technology, Randy brings a unique combination of creative and operational expertise to the Urban Grind TV team.

Randy has written multiple books with major publishers about the music business, including The Indie Band Survival Guide and Making Money With Music. Through his writing, teaching, and speaking, he has educated countless artists on music monetization, career development, and how to build sustainable creative businesses.

Beyond entertainment, Randy is an enterprise-class IT professional with more than 20 years of experience as an infrastructure architect for Fortune 500 companies and a sales engineer for a major software vendor. With a business bachelor’s degree and an M.S. in Computer Science: Data Communications with a secondary focus in AI, Randy blends creativity, strategy, and technical expertise to support the growth of Urban Grind TV.
